Hull Sands is the local branch of the National UK Sands stillbirth and neonatal deaths charity. I was asked to produce a website which would compliment the look and feel of the national website and would be easily maintained and updated by the owner.
The Victoria Dock Village Hall Community Association needed a simple but effective website to enable them to display news, events and announcements relating to the local area. They also wanted to use the site to promote the rooms they have available for hire at the village hall.

The RTN-LAB is an EU funded research group, lead up by a Professor at the University of York. They wanted a website to display their research activities and publications and to give details about group meetings and events.
I first discovered my love for web design in 2002 when I was asked to take over the management of my employer's departmental website. It was a very steep but very enjoyable learning curve and since then I have thrown myself into learning everything I can about general design principles and best practice in the industry.
Following the birth of my daughter in April 2008, I reduced my hours at my day job to concentrate on building my web design business and I couldn't be happier. There is something very satisfying about meeting new people and helping them achieve the best from their web presence.
